Air Permitting and Compliance
Meteorological
Evaluation Services
assists clients through the entire air permitting process. This can include an initial regulatory review, preparation of
application forms and emissions inventories, and interfacing
with the regulatory agencies. We can perform
emissions
calculations and dispersion modeling analyses where necessary,
determine rule applicability and compliance, and prepare the
necessary reports for submittal to regulatory agencies.
After submitting an application, MES works with the client
and government agency to address regulatory questions.
Understanding how a government agency operates can be crucial
when planning any project. MES has worked with several states
and state agencies on various air quality projects, and uses that experience
to simplify and expedite the permitting process.
In addition, MES will explain all permit requirements,
develop methods for reducing emissions, and develop a protocol
to ensure continuous compliance with all permit terms.
We have worked extensively with major PSD, Title V,
synthetic minor, natural minor, and registered sources. We are
committed to helping our clients obtain approvals that
accurately and fairly represent the processes at the facility.
In addition, since 1993, MES has worked
under contract with state agencies, reviewing permit
applications and writing air pollution control permits. We are
experienced in writing all types of approvals, including PSD and
Emission Offset new source review permits, Title V and State Operating
Permits, as well as registrations, source
specific operating agreements, and permit modifications and
revisions.
