Emission Inventories and Calculations

Meteorological Evaluation Services uses the most recent accepted emission factors to calculate potential and actual emissions from industrial sources and utilities.  Our staff members are familiar with and are frequent users of the US EPA FIRE and AP-42 data bases, and can perform engineering calculations to obtain emission rates from specific processes. These emission calculations are used in determining permitting levels and compliance with local, state, and federal air regulations.  We can also assist clients in presenting alternative emission factors before regulatory agencies and negotiating testing protocols to assure compliance.
